Steve McNair retires; Ravens set to take QB

Steve McNair retired, and the pieces are falling into place for the Ravens to take Boston College QB Matt Ryan. With McNair leaving, the Ravens are left with Kyle Boller and Troy Smith at QB. Boller and Smith were stars in college, but they would definitely be on a fantasy football fraud list, as neither one of them have done much in the pros.

As a result, the Ravens desperately need a QB, and Ryan should be available at their pick (#8). The one team that may throw a wrench in here is Kansas City, who may have a QB need. However, KC's position is nowhere near as bad as Baltimore's, so the Ravens may need to get aggressive and move up in the draft.
